There seems to be a few of us around the area at present. On the south side and on the north side and in the middle, I am trying to think of a place that would be convenient for all to get to and have a chinwag and perhaps a drink or two over the weekend. I was thinking Saturday or maybe even Friday, of course we can always make it Sunday, up to the majority.

My son has suggested a hotel called "The Glen" which is just off the freeway near the big RACQ office, Eight  Mile Plains. It is easy to get to from either side and only 15mins from the centre of town. They have a good menu and not badly priced and plenty of parking if you are using your RV.

Let me know if you are interested and what day and we can take it from there. If there is a more suitable venue from those who live in the area please advise also. 

Hope there might be a few interested.

OK looks like Sunday is the day that is going to suit most. I will make a booking at the hotel, and if you are able to attend let me know just so I can adjust the table size.

Will post the exact address and time later. Thanks eveyone, the more the merrier and I know that meeting fellow GN's is nothing but fun and great conversation. So if in the area come on down.

Thanks for the invite, sadly (or maybe not) we will not be able to make it, 'cause we are having fun up at Bjelke Petersen Dam catching fish and red claw - life is SO tough!!

Hope those that go have a lovely time - hopefully next time we will be available.

Good plan Shekon, The Glen is a good venue.  Unfortunately, we wont' be in Brisvegas til later this year, but I will be trying to organise another one when we do (finally) get there.

Hi all, if you are north or south of Brisbane there is a table booked at the GLen Hotel, Cnr Logan Rd & Gaskell St, Eight Mile Plains, from 12 noon. Hope to see bias many GN's there.
