Invisibility Cloak....

I am sure I must have one of these when approaching staff at certain places here and there;

I think in some cases John where there are younger staff if we were young, female and blonde in hotpants or young, male and looking like someone from collars and cuffs we would get instant service from some furious.

Having said that there are some young staff who are fantastic and see beyond the wrinkles etc, probably young ones that had/have a good relationship with their parents/grandparents. smile

For those who treat older people like lepers John, I take comfort in knowing they will be old one day too, so unless attitudes change they will be in the same boat when they get older wink biggrin

I usually say.
"Ï know I am old but with a bit of luck and good living you may be lucky enough to get just like me''

I used to say it all the time to the young programmers as all the new ones would ask why and how an old fella (thats me LOL, I was only late 50's early 60's as I retired at 63) was able to work in IT and remember all the things I used to do.

We had a big turn over of young programmers as they suffered greatly from the revolving door syndrome.

I find most shop assistants are great as I usually start the conversation and when I go to Bunnings and food shopping etc I always try and have a joke with the sales people and they usually remember and smile when I approach.

Regards
Brian
