After researching and pricing stone guards we decided to attempt to make one ourselves after trial and error and a few harsh words two weeks later this is our end result. After testing on gravel roads it worked extremely well, all up cost of approximately $200 plus labour ????. Bessie. (Would we attempt this again) Not too sure, think I would pay the money LOL
Looks good Bessie. I have been thinking of something for my Collie as well but might have to settle for "Rock Tamers" as I don't have the tools etc to make something simple up myself, bugga. Never mind.
Hope it all works well for you.

Thanks Doug & Ken having the right tools did make all the difference plus we have a semi industrial sewing machine. I would whip you both up a stoneguard tomorrow but you would be bitterly disappointed as I'm only the assistant and professional GOFA. Mind you I am very happy to take all the credit LOL. Bessie.
