Wow! NSW hardly any better than Canberra!

You can get a pensioner discount (free) is you own one vehicle only... ie Husband registers tug in his name, caravan in wife's.

 This has been a subject that is brought up a number of time. "discount free" the only free part is the rego, he bulk of the bill being the insurance is NOT free. Correct me if Im wrong.

just paid my rego for van, $449 (nsw) a mate as exact same van as mine and lives in Victoria paid $49.

In NSW if you are a pensioner you only pay the ctp (green slip). Our van is registered in my name at no charge(no green slip required).
The tug is registered in the boss's name, so only pay for green slip. Also we do not ha be to ay for our drivers licence. So I really cannot understand why so many "grey nomads" in NSW complain.
