No problem with asking your question here Papou. I asked a similar question about "Chief" caravans not all that long ago myself and got some great feed back including PM's. Deposit being paid tomorrow.

Have fun with your research etc.

Hi Papou,

We pick up our Options RV Tornado van early December.  Heading up there next week to pick out our colour scheme etc and to sign off.  We first saw the Options Rv's a couple of years ago at the Brisbane Caravan Show.  After looking at all the others we kept going back to them.  Were impressed with the finish and thought they were good value for money.

Cheers,

Sundance

Trawled the net looking for any negative comments on the Options RV but most were positive.  The company that makes them also seems to be well respected.  Ours is a 20ft van with a rear door and ensuite at the back.  We're having solar panels fitted as we're intending to do a lot of freecamping.  I'm sure once we go there next week we'll probably get a few unforeseen extra's added as tends to happen!

smile I would also be asking about a grey water tank as there seems to be a lot of RV friendly free camps where you must be self contained.  better and easier to get it done with the build

Thanks Ken, will definitely discuss that with them on Monday.  Having never owned a van before we are pretty clueless so any advice appreciated.

Met up with Luke at Caravan World today and chose the colours for our Options RV Tornado.  Unfortunately they didn't have one in stock to look at as they'd been sent to a caravan show this week.  All went well though.  We had a few extra's added:

Grey water tank (as per Ken's advice)

2nd battery for solar

Reversing camera

Electronic stabilisation control

Added a few extra dollars to the price but it's going to be our home for a few years when hubby retires next year so thought it better to get these things done with the build than later on if required.

Roll on December!!!!  smile
