Replacing awning

Just wondering if anybody has replaced (vinyl part only) awning and where can you buy vinyl awning part only.  Everywhere I look it appears you have to buy the whole thing.  Any ideas greatly appreciated. Rgds

What brand of awning do you have and what size is it..????

Coast to Coast carry some replacement or you can have one made by a canvas repairer..

I enquired about replacing my awning in Toowoomba at Canvas Works.  They will replace the vinyl with a product that will not shrink, using the old roller.

Hi all. Any decent upholsterer will make you up a new awning fabric in the material, colour you want and fit it for you. We had ours replaced a few months back with a vinyl which is widely used for marine canopies and only cost a little over $400 for a 5 mtr awning. Shop around and you will get the right job done. Cheers.

Gitsho hi

I had my awning replace up here in Brisbane by Aussie Traveller, Clontaff 07 32843284. I have nothing to do with the company but spent $550 on the replacement awning after ours was destroyed in a storm, I dropped the caravan into them in morning and it was ready mid afternnoon, there was plenty of option for colour choices.

I did ring about and had lots of quotes which were a lot higher, the Storm got it down below Sydney and the quotes I got from down that way were also higher for same material.

They do have a web address. Good luck. Ralph

There often is little difference in price between replacing the material and replacing the complete roller assembly.

Doing the latter of course you get all new internals that can wear or be damaged.
