Took advantage of the 48 hr stopover for a little rest , Nice spot try to camp the grass edge, Hot shower provided this is a free camp but has a donation box to help provide the nice hot shower , On Friday night there was 36 Rv in the camp only 2 donation were given .

WE stayed there for 2 nights about 6 weeks ago. The info lady said any donation is appreciated. So for $5 a night, we were happy to contribute.
All I can say, is... " refer to my comments re the freebee at Theodore. The above just proves that I would not lose my van.
Now having said that, the donation box at Duaringa, is located in the info centre a 100 plus yards away from the main free camp area.
Great spot, but like all free camps they need $$$$ to maintain the sites.
So you free loaders, who are great believers of free camping, .....WTF ... what is it, you have a huge investment in your rig, and to much of a tight Ar#@ to throw in a couple of $$$$$. to ensure that we can all enjoy these sites in the future.
You are not welcome at my camp fire.
