Remember those American station wagons with wooden back and sides called Woodies? I remember seeing a sign that said 'Have your Woody serviced here.'

The mind boggles BG wink biggrin The greater majority of us have not had the opportunity of being in the "Flying High" Club, c.o.c.kpit or toilets...

Yeah, I saw the story but didn't read all. Most passengers who are keen to join the mile high club choose the toilet. I'll show you something you may not be aware of. This room is at the rear of the aircraft!!

Is that for staff only or do they also put sick passengers in there if they need to?

Regards the molesting story, I found it a bit strange that she didn't yell for help (passengers were just across the aisle) or scream, there seems no doubt the actions took place though.   I wonder if she has some mental problems.  She was 26 so not a child. confuse

It's for crew but I'd have no objection to a passenger being taken there if ill.

Today's aircraft have long range. LAX/SYD is 14 hours. DFW/SYD (Dallas - Fort Worth) is 16 hours, one of the longest non stop flights in the world, operated by Qantas. You can't expect a flight crew to work 16 hours due to effects of fatigue, so on these long haul flights, two crews are on board. The command crew handle the departure and climb out and spend maybe 3 or 4 hours on the flight deck. Then the cruise crew take over while the original pilots go to the rest room and sleep. The initial crew  resume duty prior to descent into the destination. Hence the reason for a rest room...

Makes a lot of sense, hopefully the sleeping quarters have a bit of sound proofing ?
