I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, unfortunately I can not buy clearview mirrors for it, I contacted the company that makes them and they are develpoing them for 2010 Grand Cherokees onwards. Does anyone have an old set off anything really even damaged they don't want so I can see if I can make an adaptor to suit my Jeep.
I had them on my Landcruiser and they are easilly the best mirrors on the market.
might be hard mate to find a old set , i,d maybe be adventureous and look for good 2nd hand ones and be game and modify them , realy as you know there is only 4 screws holding them on say a 70,s ser cruiser , i,d think maybe a jeep your yr may be the similarr door profile to my 78 ser , the mounting for them is having to do 2 new holes further down the door which could be a good ting for your jeep , i e not having to depend on where the original mirrors were , but good luck , it could be done i reckon , agree best mirrors out there
Not a Jeep but I just got a quote to get some fitted to my Colorado $895.00. I have been told they are easy to fit myself but I can't see how the driver side one comes off due to the adjustment controls being there.

Look around then Doug ..
I paid $680.00 and fitted them myself .. both sides in 15 mins .. I found the instructions quite straight-forward mate .
Got the dark ones .. not the shiny ones .. might be a price difference there too .. not sure !
Yeh I know how easy they are too fit I fitted a set too a 100 Series easy as it's just Clearview Don't make them for my Jeep and don't plan too in the near future, they are developing them for 2010 Models up, which is why I think I will have to modify a set for my 2005 Grand Cherokee.

Thanks Jon, I have seen yours and remember you saying how easy they were to fit. I will get the black ones too as they will match all the other bits and bobs I have on.
I have seen the on line video about fitting them but still a bit confused about the driver side one as that is where the excising mirror adjustment control is fitted and not sure if just pulls out like in the video. ARB want $100 to fit the $795 electric mirrors.

Ive got the chrome ones fitted and love them. The only mirrors that don't shake when extended. I got mine done through the tow vehicle Dealer. Should have been black but ARB ordered and installed the chrome ones. Don't recommend chrome as sunlight reflects off them - suggest black. Oh, and don't use ARB for anything. Over priced and do a terrible job. They also fitted the cab to the rear of my new ute and stuffed that up - leaked when it rained. Everything ARB did was stuffed up. The tow vehicle Dealer is one of the big Dealers in Perth and they had so many problems with them, they only buy what the have to from ARB now and get their own staff to fit whatever it is. I wouldn't go into ARB for air to breath - lazy, useless, overpriced, arrogant and think they own the market!!
