Hi Glenn

I did not know that we have a caravan park there
there are only a few shops there
And I live for more than 20 years In Hervey Bay
I would suggest to go to Burrum Heads or Hervey Bay it self
Burrum is just a nice quiet small place 32 km from town here

If you need more info let me know by PM

Cheers John

It is not a caravan park as such.

There are 5 or 6 van parking spots  with basic amenities at the rear of a house with a very large block. Showers are coin operated...power is there and some sites have a cement pad (3 I think). Getting a large rig in there would be a fair problem I reckon. The setting and the isolation of the small town are plusses in my book...but will not suit everyone.

Hey Glennt
Yes been there too Glennt
Also just up the Road from there is a Howard (Burrum River CP) which has a good CP as well.
One of our stops on the way up or down the coast also.
Very Friendly - easy going place as well with good ammenties.
