Wonder never cease to amaze me why people just dont follow rules.
I feel for his poor wife who had to witness such an ordeal not pleasant for anyone, but it's common sense too
*shakes head in disbelief*

I remember a couple of years ago talking to an elderly aboriginal lady on the old bridge at Adelaide River about the fishing, her warning I took note very seriously, " stay on the high banks, do not go to the waters edge" Pity this fellow did not come across that old lady...

I've been on that tour Bill, the crocs are lured to jump out of the water with food on poles, they can jump up to their full body length.

Here are the latest articles on them;

Some of you will probably violently dis-agree with me here, but in my opinion, the Croc. was the Victim again. I say was, because the latest news report I heard, says it has already been shot dead.

I am so fed up with Crocs being blamed for the ridiculously stupid things humans do.

I have lived on Cape York, so I do know a little about how to live safely with them.

Some people just should never leave their own living rooms.

Cheers,

Sheba.

I am not defending the shooting of the croc, but it may be they were worried that now he had a taste of human flesh and knew how to hunt them he could have stalked humans on the banks etc, just a guess though.

Probably getting his revenge for all the tourist operators teasing him with dead chickens on the end of poles making him jump and all the gawking tourists laughing at him ...

I agree with you as well Sheba. Same as sharks etc. being in THEIR environment you/they need to be mindful of that fact and be responsible about it.

I'm with you there on that subject too Legendts.  There are quite a few others as well, but I'd better leave it at that for now.

Cheers,

Sheba.
