Below is a link to a terrific piece of sound engineering.

 

This is a video of street singers from around the world being recorded, overlaid and mixed with one another while singing the song "Stand By Me".

 

 

It is a marvel to listen to and watch.
They all deserve to be heard.

 

The finished product is superb !! The hair on the back of your neck will stand up.

Hi all;

       We have had this song for over 12 months now and it is on a album call ' Playing for change' . Fantastic album, while not avalable here in Aus, but i did a google serch and the album is available through ' Amazon ' . Well worth the effort to import into you collection .

Thanks for the feedback all, good to know it is available on an album also.

Edit:  Someone also sent me this info;

"This came out quite awhile ago, I found it on itunes and downloaded the whole album, I have them all in my music library.  Look up "Playing for Change".  Some of the tracks have video, and they are all great, but my favourite is still "Stand by Me"."

 

PS:  Re Avatar, one of many I use from time to time...smile
