Kings Highway/Clyde Mountain

Thought I'd mention that today we travelled from Batemans Bay to Canberra and back again, up the Clyde and the Kings Highway. Only one spot with roadworks on the Clyde, the rest of the works seem to be competed for now and the road is good.  On the return journey, no roadworks in progress at all - a good trip. Happy travels.

Cheers,

Annie

Good one Annie, glad you called it Clyde "Mountain" and not hill as some of the locals there call it.

Just went over it west to east, V8 Disco towing 19' Golf, The top of Clyde Mountain came up way sooner than i expected, there are two distinct downhill sections, the first was tackled in first gear, the second in second! I had the Teckonsha on boost 2 and it all went very well. The whole mornings trip from Gunning to Moruya was a pleasure.
