We plan to travel from Adelaide to Streaky Bay to Esperence WA and then further up the WA coast in early Jan so would appreciate any advice on where to stay along the way particulary Streaky to Esperance.
If you click on "Search" on the dark blue line near the top of this page and when a box comes up type Nullabor into it, it will bring up several threads of good info, this is one of them,
I wouldn't plan on going further north than say Carnarvon and north you are heading into the wet season (humidity/storms/cyclones etc) around January, best to keep south around summer.
Most of the roadhouses across the Nullarbor have some sort of caravan facility, where you can get a powered spot, if that is what you need. Obviously, they are not far from the road and so you may get some travel noise in some.
Fraser Range station is a very pleasant caravan park.
There is a quarantine checkpoint at SA/WA border. going west. No fresh fruit, vegs, boxes that have held bananas, honey. They usually do a fairly thorough check.

Having done this journey a couple of times one place I would suggest is Fowlers Bay near Nundroo. There is a road runs off the hway towards Fowlers when you come from Ceduna and when leaving taking you back to the hway towards the west. Its a great little spot but if you want te be sure of a site its advisable to ring ahead. Just google fowlers bay and find out more details and go to google earth to look it over. Great jetty and well worth few days stay
