The last time I posted we were freezing our butts off in Bathurst, since then we have stopped in Teralba near Newcastle to get an iPhone fixed, then on to Forster for a few days. We started to thaw out in Forster, and the shorts came out of moth balls.
After unwinding a bit, we moved on to Coffs Harbour which has a reputation of not welcoming nomads, and boy are they touchy about it. I casually asked the staff at the information center why they had the reputation. Wow, did I get a reaction, I was told that they welcome genuine campers, but do not welcome bludggers that expect to get everything for nothing, and leave the place in a mess to boot!
Next it was on to Eight Mile Plains (part of Logan, just south of Brisbane), we stopped there just so we could go to the Breeky Creek Hotel for one of their marvelous steaks, well worth the stop it was too.
We then set of for the Sunshine Coast, and then we found we could not get into any of the parks, so it was off to the Scout camp at Cooroy for a night.
Then on to Rainbow Beach for a few days, including a day on Fraser Island. It really does not matter how often you go to Fraser Island, it is still a great place to visit.
This morning we set off early, and propped here in Byron for a few days.
Sorry Juergen, but I managed to make it stop working three days before we left, and swapped it out, and put the big one in the night before we left.
I have started discussions with MPP Solar re what has gone wrong, but did not have time to follow their diagnostics before I left. Intend to undertake analysis when I get back, well once I acclimatize to the cold again.
