Same here John, dam disgusting! furious 

Our State government in WA upped public transport fares to counter the carbon tax, but now that has been abolished it refuses to reduce the fares.......also talking about eliminating seniors concession fares and rego concessions for pensioners......pity they don't look at reducing their salaries and super payments etc.

 The Tasmanian Govt. are talking along the same lines.. Apparently the Federal Govt. fund the States to provide these concessions, and this Federal funding is being cut. The Tas. Govt. are saying they can't afford to pick up the tab. So I guess the same applies to W. A., in fact all States.. Will have to wait an see.. The Tas. Govt. members have in fact frozen their salaries for 12 months !! And the salaries of all public servants..
