What size battery are you intending to connect it to? Are you requiring to charge batteries or just leave it connected to maintain a battery on float?

Hi Peter if your talking about me.. I use it to constantly float my[Came with the Bus AGM] it supplies my 12v power needs at the Dash of my Bus.. so it's constantly getting a trickle charge off the Lithium Battery system..

It work's and I expect to get a decade or 2 from the AGM..

If a message is not addressed to anyone then assume it is aimed at the OP. Judy has not answered my question, is she still awaiting an answer?

Sorry Peter I missed this question. I am not that sure about the best way to use it. I have also been told the dual CTek charger is the better way to go.  Still getting my head around what I need.

Thanks

Hi

I have the ctek .8 Amp charger/conditioner for my breakaway battery (7AH) works like a charm. The best way to charge a battery is at the 10 hour rate, that is if a battery is 100AH then a charge of 10 Amps for 10 hours should charge it to 100% capacity, these little chargers will do that and more. Worth every penny.

Im told ctek is the best brand, I have no argument with that.

Safe travels

I have one just like the one the OP is considering.

Do my bike (KLR 650) with it for 24 hours every couple of months to keep the battery in top shape. Also do the car (Peugeot 505) the same as well. It does the job very well on these batteries.

Also have a C-Tek 15 amp one to do the same with both batteries in my 4WD ....and some of my family borrow this one from time to time to give the huge batteries in their headers and tractors a periodic jazz up as well.

Both chargers are top notch quality and work well ...albeit bloody expensive to buy....and either of them kake a good trickle charger on the right size batteries.

Cheers  Keith
