We are looking to do a trip from south east Qld to attend the Beetoota, Birdsville and Bedourie races leaving about the 23rd August and returning in approx a months time,
We would enjoy some travelling company,so if any one is thinking of heading west we would like to meet up ,so let us know your plans.
We went to the Birdsville Races last year, had a great time. The reason I am writing is, if this is your first time and havent already been told. The cost of
food and alcohol are very high. Our suggestion is to buy your meat and freeze it, and your fruit and veg can be brought there, but as you can imagine, you would need
to get it as soon as the trucks come and deliver, as the town goes from about 300 to 4,000 population, for a couple of days. Enjoy!!!!!!!!
