The trip is nearly ended

I call it a trip, it will be 5 weeks when we end it back home.

We travelled to Echuca, missed out on meeting Jimbo, Ken Thomas and Moamajohn.

We did the sights.

Then onto Swan Hill, new gas regulator and gas refillno

Next was Mildura and a Cruise  through lock 11.smile

Then onto Broken Hill, Puncture repair, Silverton was great, Museums are good

but a number of their items on show I have either just got rid of them or they're

still in my garage/shed.disbelief

Down to Burra pretty little town, but it is starting to get colder.no

Gawler was the next stop, cooler but not yet freezing. Free train and trams to & in Adelaide.smile

Went to Glenelg as well.aww People everywhere, the end of the pier was bitterly cold.disbelief

Off to Renmark for a couple of days, still cool. Then to Balranald, woke up to heavy frost

on everything.furious Only catch in the river were carp. At the moment we are in Hay warm out of the wind and sunny

but  it looks like dropping down to below zero overnight.furious Heading for home slowly and its getting colder the closer we get.

After Hay it's Deniliquin, then to wend our way home.

Still it's been fun and enjoyable, hoping to head for Rocky mid August.depends on medical report.

Hey Kevin .Well done to you and Hillary, any trip away is a good trip .I have to say we are very envious that you are able to bugger off again so soon to Rocky. We on the other hand await the arrival of grandie no 3. So I guess its a good trade off for us .However, please keep us informed on your journey as my wife and I are always on the lookout for future expeditions .Safe travels, John.

The Peppin heritage centre is worth looking through and only costs a gold coin. It's in the old school where the tourist centre is. There is also a lovely river walk if you like walking. The gates to the ute muster site on Conargo rd are worth a photo as well as the ute on the pole and the mosaic ute.

 Thanks Pam,

We left Hay this morning, the temp read -2.3 at 8.00am me fingers lost feeling very quickly.

Arrived in Deniliquin before lunch, set up camp and had a late lunch of Steak & mash at the Globe Hotel

$7.00 and very yummy. Walked from their to Coles for food top up. If the feet are up to it we'll go to the

Peppin Heritage Centre, then who knows what we'll do. Depends on the day. Travelled through 65klm of fog this morning.

As we said earlier following the cold home but the fog was a surprise.
