Mate had one and we use to use it on the Murray River at Robinvale hade a ball 

they are good things , but not for a trip like that

you would really have to pick the right time as I have been 1/2 way down in a tinny and found myself dragging it over some sand bars 

was going to do the other 1/2 at the start of this summer but wife's got a few  health issues we are trying to work out
