Has anyone done the wagon ride with morning tea at Leahton Park longhorn cattle station near Charters Towers? We have a small time slot and want to include the station. How long does the wagon ride go for? A bit pricey at $60 p/p so it would need to be a decent time for the ride. Your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
We did the wagon ride, about a month ago, and really enjoyed our time. We started off with billy tea and damper then went out for the wagon ride, where you can get off and wonder around with the cattle, and even hand feed a calf and pat the cattle, if your game..then return to their shop to buy a sovereign. We were there for nearly three hours and enjoyed our morning.
