Auto Electrician - Dubbo

Arrived in Dubbo late in the afternoon (Friday) on our way north, and discovered the wiring for our van and Navara was in urgent need of repair. One phone call resulted in the repairs being done the next morning, at the caravan park, and included the installation of an Anderson plug and the relocation of our reversing camera connections, by Dean from Robbie Cook Auto Electrical (0409 072 251 or 02 6884 8803). If anyone needs an auto electrician in Dubbo, make Dean your first contact - terrific service and quality work at very reasonable rates.

I was talking to a van friend about lifting my Avan Rhys H/T and he strongly recommended B & B Caravan Service at Brendale, a Brisbane northern suburb which is about 15 minutes from home. I am so glad he did! Graham (manager) did a fantastic job at a great price. He not only reversed the axle, he spent over an hour (unpaid) setting up my car & hitch. What a difference! I will definitely be using B & B again.

Morning gailhayd, had a similar experience in Dubbo, the engine warning light on the Transit came on just out of Dubbo, it was mid afternoon on a Friday, called into the Ford dealership and explained the situation, the young bloke I spoke to told me to run it into the workshop, hooked it up to a computer and diagnosed a faulty EGR valve, told us we could continue driving the vehicle without doing any damage, reset the dash warning light and we were on the road again within an hour.

All this for the princely sum of no charge we were certainly impressed, tried to give him something for his trouble, he wouldn't hear of it.

We hear so many stories of poor service its nice to be able to add something positive.smile

PS The warning light came on again 20km down the road and remained on for the next 7000km, we replaced the exhaust gas recycling valve when we returned home, problem solved.
