Carry the vet info with you; vaccinations etc to prove she is up to date with everything. It's good to have your dog secured as it takes the worry away from you. You know you can stop in a hurry if you have to and she is secure. Ours rides in a booster seat, harnessed and it gives her the opportunity to see just where she is headed. She spent 3 months travelling with us last year and was no problem at all. Enjoy.
Enjoy your new life Ms Fang! My boys travel on their harnesses too, but as for sitting up looking out the windows.....they are both asleep before I get out of the driveway or Camp Area! Asleep until they divine there is a coffee shop or bakery stop comming up!

Cheers. Pawsoz.
We shared our lives with a whippet for many years.
After his passing many friends said he was a true gentleman.
Mellow in the extreme and friendly to all.
