The Trip is continuing.

We have left Echuca, missed out on seeing DunWorkin and Moamajohn,

What a blow, have enjoyed their posts.

We waited till the huge wind storms abated and went off to Swan Hill.

Had a full gas bottle at Echuca, turned gas on in AM went to cook in PM,

No gas, Empty. Swmbo really pleased 'cos that meant she didn't have to cook.

"Take me out to tea was the cry," so I did. Refill done next day, tested all joints no apparent leaks.

At Swan Hill I thought I could smell gas each time I turned the bottle on. So I tested

every thing possible and scanned with an eagle eye. When I sprayed the regulator

A big bubble appeared at the top and disappeared so quickly. It was only seen fleetingly

but further squirts proved the leak was there. So off to the Gas place to get a new one.

I managed to disconnect the old one,( much cursing and hollering) and fitted the new one.

Tested that rigorously and all was well. Left Swan Hill and arrived in Mildura today and will stay

here for a few days. At the moment there are fairly strong gusts of wind blowing but should go by the morning.

No GN stickers in this park either. Do you think we are too far south?

Thanks Moamajohn,

Lots of heavy rain showers today. Went for a river cruise through lock 11

Very interesting, the skills required to make this happen is astounding.

Visited Woodies Gem place, Makes the wants and needs have a reality check.

Rain is supposed to ease tomorrow so Red Cliffs is a good choice.

Just make sure you are on your own when you talk to "Big Lizzy" Kevin or you could be in a bit of strife furioussmile

Great part of the playground you are in for sure. I loved that cruise you mentioned. The Apex park is a nice CVP too and the paddle steamers turn around right in front of you.

Thanks Dougwe,

Yes we went to Red Cliffs today, Checked out "Big Lizzie"

Made SWMBO stand beside it, just to show her something that's taller than her.

Went to have a look at the "Red Cliffs", We got a bit lost finding the lookout, but eventually

found it. A bit disappointing though, no sun to highlight the colours. The wind was cold

and Scottish, "Too mean to go around, just goes straight through". Leaving here tomorrow

and heading for Broken Hill. Rumour has it that the Top Tourist Park is probably the best to aim for.

Is this true?  We will toddle off tomorrow and see what eventuates.

By the way in case I forgot to mention it, you have a Very Nice Tug.
