We  originally planned to travel this road as we heard a rumour that it had been sealed.

It isn't sealed, it is corrugated, rough and dusty. We regret towing our van over it, now busy cleaning dust out of everywhere! cry

We spent a week in Kununurra cleaning out the van and 4wd of gibb river dust, then went down to Bungle bungles, then part of Tanami to Wolfe Creek Crater, THEN, via Duncan Road and Buntine Highway back into NT.  Now we have to start again, red dust has gotten into places that even gibb river dust did not...
