Went to the movies yesterday and saw the new xmen movie,Very very good show.Saw the trailer for
Planet of the apes. Looks like it is a violent movie,Not for me I'm afraid.

You only say that mongrel cos the apes in the movie eat mongrels.

I will admit it, I am waiting on that movie to arrive. Sorry, but I am a fan of the "Ape" movies.

I think I have seen all of those ,including the last remake, but not a new one
the ones on tv are the originals arnt they?

For me atleast they won't ever have a remake better than the original with Charlton Heston, I watch it when ever its on.  Its like a lot of songs that they remake, they aren't a pinch on the original, years ago the singers had to be good to make it, now it doesn't matter how they sing their video sells them if their voice doesn't lol, and the buttons and knobs they use  mask what the singer just cannot do....Kisha

Just as a matter of interest the Planet of the Apes movies were based on a book called Monkey Planet by a French author called Pierre Boulle. He was also the Author of Bridge over the River Kwai. The British movie with Alec Guinness was based on his book.
