Wallabys on the verandah


I have a wallaby living under my verandah, and he has been pinching the bread from the rainbow lorrekeets.I named him Granville......

Great video Bill! But bread's not good for the kangaroo/wallaby family. Apparently it sticks around their teeth and gives them mouth ulcers. Maybe it serves the thieving little blighter right! Or how about you feed your lorrikeets on birdseed Bill?

I'll have to get some. The lorrekeets fly into the house and DEMAND to be fed. Multigrain bread seems to keep them happy.The wallaby has only turned up in the last few days.The curlews and him fight with the lorrekeets for the bread. Have to go to the hardware tmrow. Will look for some birdseed. Bill

It's ok to feed wallabies cabbage leaves. Bread gives them a condition called 'lumpy jaw'
