If you are travelling North towards Queensland, you may like to spend some time in the N/W. Blazeaid are still looking for volunteers, who don't necessarily have to do a great deal of manual labor. I am part of six volunteers, known as, "F Troop" (?) who just put in three weeks at a cattle property helping to build cattle yards. So, if that sort of hard yakka doesn't appeal, there are folks on properties who would appreciate a couple just house sitting for a few weeks. A lot of the volunteers are, like me, seniors.  There's lots to do, or not much to do. Besides, it's a lot warmer up north. All the details are available on their site. Regards. Pipes.
