EUROPEON WINDOWS?

Your thoughts & experiences with the new style of windows in caravan/m/homes these days.

Push out windows, roller screens & blindes with no curtains. Have to open all screens to open/close windows &  lock windows in place

They way I see it with roller sun/light screens in trackes when closed will block all air flow, maybe for Europe but not Aussie.

Also with the rougher roads will the roller screens/blindes shake loose, springs let go like the old house blindes did if let go a bit quickley.

Didn't like the roller blindes in a house so can imagine all kinds of probs while travelling.

We don't have them but it appears that we can't buy a van with out these.

Over to you.

JC.

JC. We have the euro windows in our motor home. .We  find them  fantastic ,rolling up the screen to open the window is easy, the screen and blind clip together so you can move them up and down  to suite your requirements of privacy or ventilation. They are now four  and half years old and travelled 65,000 ks with no problems .If we were to buy another motor home we would want he same style of windows.,,,,,,,,,,, Peter.

Hi, we had that kind of windows in our last van of 2 years...we had no problem with travel as e were told to travel with blind down (as they usually at bottom of window and screen to the top). the blinds have improved to when we grew up.. If the wind gets to strong have known others to damage the material...we decided to put in curtains which we think better for air flow. we have just picked up new van Saturday with same but they also put in small chain link holland blinds..hope this helps. o and windows are double glazed..

Hello jim & Leonie
Have these windows and no comparasion to having venetions, the best part for me is the total block out when sleeping, no lights to bother you
Had no trouble with air flow as we have roof vents
