G'day ! If you are on the road, and looking for something to do, contact "Blazeaid" on the web. You're never too old to help someone, somewhere. I have worked with them in various states, and am now, at 71, in N/W Qld; helping to build cattle yards, 130 K's out of Richmond. Only in town 'til Monday, so any comment re. this info. will have to wait for a couple of weeks, 'til we come into town again. Regards. Pipes.
I did a stint up near Horsham in Victoria , the feeling is great being able to help someone in need ,Blazeaid was great and they certainly look after you, only for ill health I would have put in more time.
Wife and I just did 8 days on station south of Richmond - good people - just needed a hand with jobs they haven't been able to get to - learnt a lot and did things we never expected to ever do - great opportunity if you can do it - camp for free on the station.
