We have friends who go there regularly and love it. Not sure about pets though.

It is a donation type camping at the Baths and yes it is pet friendly.

We were there a few weeks ago. Definitely dog friendly in the camping area - obviously no dogs in the pool area.

There was plenty of room to camp and nice and grassy - room for the dog to have a run too. I would recommend staying here, in fact, we are heading to SW QLD in July and are hoping to make a stop at Pilliga on the way. The wetland walk into the town is an easy 5.5km return walk - just watch for snakes (our dog found one for us).

Love Pilliga bore baths, been there often. Burren Junction, just up the road is pretty good too

We have just left there. Plenty of room to park and have a fire. Toilets are ok. Very minimal road noise. While we there was about 30 van a night. Enjoyed our stay there and will visit if we go that way again.

can anyone advise road conditions from Coonabarabran to Pilliga. Or should we travel from Wee Waa to Pilliga avoid the dirt. Also can we travel safely from Pilliga to Burren Junction . Am okay with reasonable dirt conditions but nothing too rough.
