My sister in law gave me this recipe for spicy tomato sauce 30 years ago and it's been a fav ever since. Fabulous with meatloaf or rissoles.

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1/4 cup Worcester sauce

2 tablespoons vinegar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon instant coffee powder

30g butter

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring slowly to boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
