BlazeAid is setting up a base-camp at Julia Creek in north-western Queensland. Unlike other BlazeAid camps which have been centralised and mainly concentrated on fencing, volunteers working in the drought affected areas will be allocated to the actual property to reside there and assist the property owners with a wide variety of tasks.
If you want to know more, check out the Website at blazeaid.com or ring me, Brian, the Julia Creek co-ordinator on 0407 066-560. A base-camp has also been set up at Richmond.
