'Pre' Grey Nomads - 'In Training'

My eldest son Luke (33) and his wife Shell (31) have left their home in the Hunter Valley, NSW for a 2 month exploration into inner NSW, NT, WA and SA.

They have done a bit of travelling in foreign countries - Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand etc as well as 3 months in South America and the Amazon 2 years ago.

This is their first real exploration of Aus. They have done a fair bit of off road training and driving so have experience in tricky situations.

They are travelling in a recently acquired 'troopy' which Luke fitted out himself and which they are finding more than adequate and comfortable for two.

They are both incredibly interested in all sorts of wildlife and when in the Amazon spent every night out tracking and recording wildlife (including a couple of Jaguars that they think actually 'recorded' them !)

This is their blog if you are interested in having a look.

Cheers

Wanderer

Took a peak at their Blog Wanderer, nice pics and nice commentary.

Edit....clicked before finished sorry. Very exiting for both of them and good on 'em I say. Hope they have a ball.
