i'm toying with the idea of those magnetic screens to put on my campervan.
do they work and are they easy to install
I thought it'd be good having the dog wander in and out.
and onto the next bit....I have a sliding door *sigh* and wondering about some sort of catch thing so said dog can come and go but intruders not encouraged.
I tried them once, too hard to get them to attach to my doorway and were too wide for van door also, so I went for a hard plastic thingy one, the sort you see in shop doorways and works a treat, dog can come in and out, keeps the warmth and cool air in when needed and also keeps the flies out...............ordered it from a place in Toowoomba and delivered the next day and easy to install.
hi again, thanks for the info re the screens. will go for the plastic thingy can you remember where you ordered them from, or are they available in most stores? thinking about stringing them up at the back when I open it up for a bit of ventilation:) cheers

Am looking for the receipt as it was nearly 2 years ago, they are a company based in Toowoomba Qld, you just measure the space you want it on and ring them, they are not that cheap I think from memory about $150 or something like that but are well worth it............will keep looking for phone number

I got my last "plastic thingy" at the Warehouse discount store Qld. They are fly strips, made of plastic, various colours and the top clamp also plastic and I cut to size with a hacksaw. Then screw in place. They do tangle though especially if you negotiating with both hands full. My big dog has no probs with them.
Maybe Sams or Crazy Clarks have them.

No, I'm not busy, I did it right the first time.
Self-powered wheelie walker, soon a power chair (ex. Nomad)
The one I was recommending are not the fly type ones, these are much more sturdy and certainly don't tangle, as I said before they are not cheap but do a great job also they are clear hard plastic and each strip is about 5 inches wide............just a thought.
