Bit sad today - lost an old mate - a black Labrador - she was 13 years old - just too attached to these friends but she and the others I have had over my lifetime were certainly faithful.  crycrynono

I lost my baby (Shady) 1 year ago today, Its still very painful for me but he is at peace now with no pain, you have my deapest sympathy, Norma

Thank you all for your thoughts - no doubt we have all been through this at sometime unfortunately. Was there a verse that went with the Rainbow Bridge theme - something to do with the pets.

Sorry to hear of your loss Nelly. We 'inherited' our son's dog and he is now 15 with cancer. We wonder how long he'll go. He stole a bit of our hearts like all dogs tend to do.

hi my thoughts are with u too. my mate is 14 he has helped me thru a load of **** last few years. Tears will be shed when the day comes
