I suppose Bruno , it depends on what you want & want to see .

I would go > Mildura - Hay - West Wyalong - Coonabarabran - Goondiwindi - Millmerran - Toowoomba - Blackbutt - Kilcoy - Caboolture _ Mooloolaba.

Having worked out of Adelaide & did regular runs to BrisVegas , I found that the better way , over -

B/Hill , Cobar , Bourke , Moree , Warwick , Bris , Moo .or

B/Hill , Cobar , Nevertire , Warren , Gil , Coona , etc

I used LESS fuel , in a 100k speed limited Semi , it was also quicker.

When I went over to KI last June , I went -Coffs,Syd,W/Wagga,Hay,Moulamein,Ouyen,T/Bend,Strath,C/Jervis.

But came back-Adel-Pt Aug-Hawker-Orroroo-B/Hill-Nevertire-Coona Tamworth-Armidale Grafton.

I like Zoomtopz first suggestion. I just drove from Melbourne to the Sunshine coast. If you want to get into big city driving and freeways, from Goondiwindi, go to Warwick then the direct track to Brisbane via Ipswich Motorway, then join the Gold Coast Freeway, over the Gateway Bridge and freeway to Mooloolaba. Just another suggestion to consider...

Thanks for your advice i think i will go the mildura, coonabarabran option,where not site seeing just need to get there as quick as we can,leaving wednesday.
