I have noticed that visitors to the forum well exceed members at the same time, at the moment visitors are double the amount of members viewing the forum.
Just a hint for visitors, if you register on the forum (which is free) not only are you able to post or ask questions, but the main advantage is you can access your "User Details" (click on User Details on blue line above if registered) and adjust your settings so the latest posts come up first on each thread and you don't have to scroll down on the pages to see the last post.
Cost you nothing, so go for it!

Only two more visitors needed to join GN to help us reach the 8,000 members mark, so how about it folks, want to join to repay the benefit you receive from viewing the forum? Or just to help the forum reach another goal?
Free membership and more user friendly (eg; change settings to bring new posts to the fore) etc.

Is a member a visitor on the forum when the member hasn't logged in? If that the case there were members looking at the forum but they were classed as visitors. Hope this makes sense to you all.
I suppose that would be visitors like me that find no need to sign in only to peruse the invaluable information sometimes found here. This would be a prime example of such times, wow my second post, what a post whore I am.
I don't log in when browsing GN on the iPhone unless I want to make a comment like now so I would usually show as a visitor. iPhone brings up last posts first but doesn't show which section the topic is in.
There are occasions where like some others if I'm having a quick look at the forum I may not sign in, but I would say the majority of visitors are those that are not registered members.
This shown at the bottom of the forum shows this, see;
The most users ever online at once was 49 member(s) and 187 guest(s) at 07:01 PM Nov 3, 2013, I would guess most of those would be non registered users.
Not that it matters, but the more registered members the merrier!

Welcome Spondo, it looks like being one of the latest two to join you or the other GN are the 8,000 member!

Congratulations to you both !
I actually registered Mar 1, 2013, just a man of very few words but thanks for the welcome. Not so much a nomad either just a retired keen caravanner/camper, with very little grey except on the chin.

Doesn't matter Spondo, you're here that counts and I'll bet you have things you can share with everyone including your experience, travel, photo's etc.
All GN members and visitors welcome here irrespective of age, so anyone who may be hesitant to join because of age don't be, you will be welcomed with open arms, both here and at any getogethers etc.
