I found a recipe that requires gow gee wrappers - I can't seem to find them anywhere. Is there something else I could use or would anyone know where or what they are please?
"Jiaozi or if fried, pot sticker, is a type of dumpling commonly eaten across Eastern, Central and Western Asia.
Jiaozi typically consists of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping."
Try searching for "gow gee pastry" or "dumpling pastry".

Hi Nelly
I get my wrappers from Woolworths/Safeway. At our local store they are in the fridge section where they sell fresh pasta and the likes
Hope this helps
Glenda
That's great Nelly. I normally steam mine but have been known to deep fry them aswell. They freeze really well and take no time at all to thaw out......Enjoy.
I bought WonTon wrappers from the Chinese grocery market. They are what they use for Gow Gee wrappers same thing actually. I was told that by the Chinese lady in the grocery store.
