gow gee wrappers

I found a recipe that requires gow gee wrappers - I can't seem to find them anywhere.  Is there something else I could use or would anyone know where or what they are please?

Try searching for "gow gee pastry" or "dumpling pastry".

You should pick them up at any Asian food store.

Hi Nelly
I get my wrappers from Woolworths/Safeway. At our local store they are in the fridge section where they sell fresh pasta and the likes

That's great Nelly. I normally steam mine but have been known to deep fry them aswell.  They freeze really well and take no time at all to thaw out......Enjoy.hungry.gif

I bought WonTon wrappers from the Chinese grocery market. They are what they use for Gow Gee wrappers same thing actually. I was told that by the Chinese lady in the grocery store.
