Where to stay - Northgate Brisbane

I am travelling to Brisbane, arriving 14th May to pick up a new motorhome in northgate, I will need somewhere to stay on the nights of 14th 15th May, will need to clean out the old motorhome ready to changeover on the 15th. I would prefer a caravan park where I can get a cabin for the 2 nights, as I will need to store my motorhome contents overnight before I pick up the new one. Any suggestions please, the only thing I can find close is Aspley Gardens, but have read a couple of "not so good" reviews. Accommodation would need to be for 2 adults on the 14th and 3 adults and a 2 year old on the 15th. Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

Ray,

Not sure about now but Asply Gardens has had a really bad rep. & don't think it worth the risk.

The Redcliffe Penninsular is not much further to travel & is a bit more "holidyish" Scarborough Holiday Village is one you could try.

Mike.

Yes, stay as far away as possible from Aspley. If you stay there you don't have to worry about your motorhome contents. They will be gone over night . SHV is a very good suggestion. Newmarket gardens should be fine too.

Hi Middo

That's the former Big4. Mates have been there a few months ago. Cabin was pretty worn out and dirty and cost a fortune. Maybe that has changed with the swap from Big4 to Gateway. But safe and quiet in the night.

There is a shopping centre just down the road from it. If you go to that one, Beams Road takes you to Sandgate Road and not far from where you need to go to pick up the MH.
