Left the Gold Coast this morning at 9am. Drove to Gatton, then to Warrick and Inglewood, turned left and arrived in Texas at2 30. Pm. Now at the free camp at the river with between 20 & 30 other Motor homes and caravans. 30degs when we arrived and just starting to cool now.

I've always thought of Texas to be a small fairly isolated town so it surprises me to learn that you're camped with 20 or 30 other motorhomes and caravans. I trust you're all having a wonderful time.

We were there a couple of years ago on the way home it was at the beginning of October and only about 6 vans there at that time, maybe a bit late for travellers.

Hi, you have probably already been for a walk and found them but there are some great sites along the waters edge on the NSW side of the river, just cross the concrete causeway and turn left.
