I have been on the road for a few weeks now and have discovered the most wonderful campsites free along the way. Texas on the Riverbank. Showers and Loo in town if needed. Surat on the riverbank - bring the sandfly spray if there has been rain. Longreach on the Thompson River.

Hope this helps anyone travelling out this way.

Here's a list of camping website links that provides all aspects of camping sites throughout Aust & NZ.

Includes the latest on rest areas, show grounds, state parks, etc etc.

All nicely compact on a page of a modern IT device.

I'm always suspicious of that too sandsmere, but it worked me the other day with no problems. Not game to try it again now. confuse

Okay, curiosity got to me. It worked, and it's a PDF file, if that makes any difference.
