The Average price of Petrol in Perth is presently on the slide again,
almost half-way through the weekly cycle.
I was going to post a copy of the Fuel Watch graph but, I see it has a Copyright notice on it so,
Better not give the Nomads a bad name.
I'll just give some figures, On the evening of the 16th the Average Cost of fuel was as low as around $ 146.9 Cpl,
Come the morning of the 17th the cost had jumped to $ 157.00 cpl
By yesterday the 20th the price had dropped to around $ 151.00 cpl This price is coming down and will continue, until the bottom of the weekly cycle is reached, probably around Wed - Thur, then it will rise again by anything, sometimes as much as $0.15 Cpl overnight .
It's a different story with the Diesel Fuel, Here it has dropped and dropped again in price,
To get some idea the Average price on the 02/04 was $162.00 Cpl It dropped a little on 03/04 then stayed that price until 14/04 when it dropped again, the cheapest Diesel at present is $153.9 Cpl, the dearest is still on Rottnest Island ....$189.00 Cpl.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope the Diesel comes down this week, I have to fork out for a tank full and a Jerry Can as well, before we head off Down South for a Month or Three, Sure hope those Salmon are still running on the South Coast !!!
We paid 146.9 last night for unleaded. Looked at prices as we went thru Perth to the airport on our FIFO pick up run and that was about the average price from Wanneroo thru to airport. Up here it is always at least 25c dearer and that was before Easter break . Local servo always ups the price even more for holiday periods.
