Travelled thru the Gap last week. Road is good, but winding. For free camping, which way are you headed ? Do you have Camps 7 ?

The gap is a good run, road work's all finished, a good camp site about 5K's north of Aratula, it is noted in Camp's 7.

Hi - the camp spot that FrednCaz spoke about is called Fassifern Park - on the corner of Cunningham Highway and the road to the Gold Coast via Boonah and Beaudesert. If only overnight you can park in the carpark of the Boonah Visitors Centre from 4pm to 8am. Toilets and bbq.

There is also the Kalbar Showgrounds, Kalbar Connection Road, near the pub - cheap overnight - power, water, toilets and shower available - as well as the Boonah Showgrounds - also cheap overnight and right in town.

If my memory serves me correct I believe gladfield is day parking only.
