I'm enjoying my time in the Flinders right now. Bit nippy at night but the days are magnificent. Not to many wild flowers mind you but plenty of stubble in the paddocks and some creeks are running.

thanks D and D, from the feedback I've been getting I think we will head up there in Spring as the Boss enjoys flora and is not so keen on extremes of weather

Hi Scrubba

I spent a wonderful time in the Flinders last Sept / Oct and the weather was very pleasant. There are plenty of free camping spots to enjoy

and if you are lucky as I was, much flora and fauna to keep you interested. I have described a few places on my blog if you wish to

have a look ( solosteveontheroad.blogspot.com ) . I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy a visit to Parachilna and Brachina Gorges and don't miss the little Warren Gorge

just out of Quorn where the rock wallaby is often about.

Steve
