I am at my favourite bush camp 35 km n/e of Whyalla in Sa. Bush camp to mostly full as from Thursday night but other places in the area to camp. Here at Fitzgerlad bay is flush toilets and town water but no showers, so it beside the van using a solar shower burr if its windy . If your driving over Easter please take care a lot of idiots and impatient people are on the road too.
Here in the West, were getting out of the heat and heading South, into the Tall Timber Country.
Only one stop over that is on the books, that is to see the change of Tree colour in the Golden Valley Tree Park at Balingup.
WE hope to be away from Perth on the 25th (ANZAC weekend ) and will take the Albany Hwy down as far as Williams, or maybe go on to Kojonup, then cut West to either Collie or Boyup Brook.
Free Camping along the way and in no hurry to get anywhere, were just going to wander in the general direction of Balingup and keeping well away from where the little "Ankle Bitters" may be staying.
Anyone other Grey Nomads have similar plans ???
Cheers K.J.
P.S. we hope all you other "Grey Nomads" have a safe and Happy Easter,
Watch out for the "Revenue Raisers" Double demerit points on any day they think there will be more people on the High-Ways.

Decided to head off to Poona a day earlier now...on Wednesday & beat the traffic.....Probably stay the 1st night around Gympie then head off Thursday morning
Got ''lots'' of fishing in our sights for the weekend
Mostly stayin put at home....altho....might take a leisurely drive out to the Tullamore (central west NSW) Irish festival...just coz I have never been to it.
Still up in the air at this stage ...as SWMBO is working pretty well all of Easter (Nurse)
Staying put with son and family, keeping out of the way of the traffic, will be going away for a long weekend after Easter and then a few weeks later will be heading off to Queensland for about 3 to 4 months. Hope everyone travelling stays safe.
Arrived at Sanbar Caravan and Bush camp. 25k south of Forster NSW Yesterday for 2 weeks. Here for granddaughters first birthday. So far it hasn't stopped raining
Probably not in a good place for us for Easter. School hols, easter long weekend, then Anzac day. Camped in overflow at one of the c/'parks in town, but off tomorrow to find a freedom camp somewhere between here and Carnarvon. Need to go there to get engle looked at (bugg8a). Lots of people here in Denham, but pretty town. Not doing the monkey thing, too touristy, just done the drives, walks etc. Everyone goes fishing if they don't do the monkey thing, but we don't have a boat.
