BE VERY CAREFUL OBTAINING A CERTIFICATE FROM A REGISTERED WEIGHBRIDGE.
Transport Inspectors have been known to look through weighbridge certificate books (QLD does this I know) and if you weigh your van and then "discover" you are overweight you are not supposed to drive it as you will be committing an offence and the proof is in writing.
Be careful also as you could void insurance, and we know how the companies like any excuse.
I suggest using weighbridges on a casual basis with no written certificate as some have mentioned below.
I use my landscape supplier OR my scrap metal dealer.

Hi, If You pick a quite time at a public weigh bridge (phone for best time) they will normally allow You to disconnect the van and check the tow ball weight etc.
They normally have a 20kg variation. Last one cost me $20.00. I was put over the scales on the Nullabor last year so it really is worth while checking even if You need to weigh before and after loading.
