Alzheimer's Test.....

Test Your Brain

ALZHEIMER'S EYE TEST

Count every "F" in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI
FIC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.....
(SEE BELOW)

HOW MANY 'F's?

Count them again.

WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke..

READ IT AGAIN !

Really, go Back and Try to find the 6 'F's before you scroll down.

The reasoning behind this is further down.

The brain cannot process "OF".

F
INISHED F ILES ARE THE RE
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI
F
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.....

Incredible or what?

Anyone who counts all 6 'F's on the first go is a genius.

Three is normal
, four is quite rare.

Morning Vic,

Crikey, I must be a genius, read through the sentence within a few seconds and counted 6 F's, thought this seems pretty straight forward, and it was.biggrin

I'll blame the Spec's I wear.   nonodisbelief

I saw only three, but I wonder if the real reason may have something to do with our brains being distracted by the splits in "re-sult" and "scienti-fic". Alternatively, could the fact that all the "obvious" Fs were at the start of a syllable rather than at the end have influenced our perception? Or could it simply be that the brain's processing of uppercase is responsible in some way?
