1940's Air Aircraft Carrier in the Pacific - Rare color footage. This is 16mm color (not "colorized") footage that you may not have seen of carrier action in the Pacific.
Not many color shots in the '40's - extremely expensive then, with a complicated and exacting processing process.

That is amazing footage, thanks for sharing

I remember dad telling me of many times the US had air craft carriers along side his ships
during the war, not sure if we had any of those ??
