Just a day trip.

Went for a day trip today, just a short 600 odd Km's, through Nabiac, up the Thunderbolt Way to check out some camp spots. Pulled up at Bretti reserve and had lunch than onto Walcha. Came back to Crescent Head via the Oxley Hwy, pulled into Appsley Falls & Tia Falls which would both be very nice spots to stay at. Was a nice drive and found some great spots to return too, we had never been up the Thunderbolt Way before & my beautiful partner hasn't been on the Oxley Hwy before today. The thing I was most impressed with was how the Fiat van handled the trip, now we just need to have more then 1 day off a week so we can relax for a bit at some of these spots.

Woolly hi

That was great day out, very scenic with some good spots to stop and enjoy on your one day off per week.

As a transport driver I used the Oxley Highway to go between Port and Tamworth regularly and was hoping one day to return and take time to smell the roses.

Top drive. Cheers.
